A Flower of Every Meadow of Pakistan. Textile arts for every occasion.

Venue: Beit Al Sadu next to the National Museum, Kuwait City.

From the mountain ranges of Khyber to the sandy beaches of Sindh, Pakistan have fascinated the world. This PowerPoint presentation will illustrate the rich cornucopia of textiles all over Pakistan and their vital role in everyday rural and urban life.

Salma Asima Khalid is currently a Quilt Group coordinator and a member of  Kuwait Textile Arts Association (KTAA). Her love of textiles is inherited from her mother, a textile artist and quilter. Salma  is a Pakistani, who has lived in Kuwait all her  life. She has travelled all over Pakistan, done her graduation in English and Masters in International Studies (MIS). Salma has been doing voluntary work for both Kuwait Textiles Art Association (KTAA) and Sadu House for quite some time.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Doors open at 6pm
